£2800 for a JP8 on eBay this week.... new
      #131738 - 20/05/05 05:23 PM
... are people completely mad. RL Music will have to put their prices up as Richard is starting to look reasonable value.

And apparently a CR78 with write switch sold for £250 on the same day that Music Control sold a CR78 with no write switch for £350! Weird.

have a great weekend everyone.

Dominic

I always feel that certain synths just arnt worth owning simply because of the insane prices they reach. Its part of the reason why I dont own synths like the Minimoog. The price isnt justifyable for what you get.

True, but some people are rich enough not to be worried by trivialities like what's a fair asking price!

TBH I'd much rather swap a Kawai K1m for a Behringer mixer - so I did!

Seriously though. 2800? That's probably more than I ahve to spend for the rest of this year!

I believe my Moog dilemma (desirable synth, but expensive and made in the US) is about to be solved by Creamware. Ooops - Vintage forum; where is my coat ?

Instant gratification is actually pretty good. It's fast as well.
