Getting back into the programming world after a 2 year break Built myself a silent pc
with an M-audio 192 card as its outputs. Gonna get a pair of Yamaha MSP5As as
monitors and seeing as these have volume controls on each cabinet would it be logical to
connect straight to the pc?
Space constraints mean there will be no other
equipment being monitored and any sound going into the pc will be ripped straight from
sample cd so no need for Mic inputs. Really dont want to get a small mixing desk if i
can help it. Just to keep things as tidy as possible. cheers guys

I used to do this with my Alesis M1 Mk2s. Worked fine, but it was annoying as their gain
control is on the back, and you had to unplug them if you wanted to listen on headphones.
I got a Samson C-Control in the end.
The situaton would be a bit better for
you, as the MSP5s at least have volume controls on the front.
