Mbox 1 White Noise new

I've recently upgraded to OS X Tiger and I'm running Pro Tools 6.9.2 with the coresponding Digi CoreAudio Manager application. My problem is every time I use Safari while playing music in iTunes, the music is replaced by loud white noise which only goes away when I close the CoreAudio Driver.

Do you have any ideas why this might be? Is anyone else experiencing difficulties with the MBox and Tiger?

I've tried the customer service updates for the CoreAudio manager but it doesn't fix the problem.

I had problems with the mbox and white noise also. This was when I upgraded to 10.3.9 from 10.3.8 I didnt know that 3.8 wasnt supported by digidesign so had to roll back OSX. The white noise appeared in iTunes and Logic but suprisingly not pro tools!!! After the OSX rollback it was fine. Im now using Tiger and the mBox with no problems at all. I only use the mbox for protools now though and a Motu 2408 for everything else so havent been able to replicate your problem.

Cheers for your input. I've tried reloading my whole system from the ground up and its still horrible. I guess I'll have to get another interface to run Logic and system sounds through.
