Anyone knows of a good AU pitch shifter...

At the moment I often have to pitch shift files to make them match the key of the piece. Logic has some good plugins but PSII is not one of them - anything harmonically dense immediately sounds grainy and full of artifacts.
I wouldn't want to buy complicated and expensive software such as Melodyne, because it doesn't make sense to spend what I earn from being a musical prostitute in stuff that I would not even use in my own music making.
Could someone point me in the right direction?

Apple's own freebie plug-in AUPitch isn't bad.
