Does anyone have experience of the ZOOM MRS1266; especially
A colleague at work has one; and he suspects the hard drive as the unit is
becoming very flakey and often refuses to boot.
I myself have never used one
(all my stuff is in Cubase with VST Instruments), so I'm not familiar with it.
My questions are:
Can the hard drive be replaced?
If so what type/capacity?
(As a computer support type I don't mind changing a drive - especially if it's a
standard IDE type).
I guess the drive will be FAT32 - rather than NTFS?
the current drive is toast - how can the 'OS' be replaced?
If the answer to the
above is 'No'- must the unit go back to the ZOOM distributor for repair?
they haven't been much help so far.
Imagine what you will know tomorrow...
