hi there, I was wondering if anyone can please help me out on ableton live 5? I've just
got a new sound card, an edirol fa-66. It has more outputs than my previous sound card,
and I am told that I can assign an output for private channeling. Following the manual's
instructions only gets me so far. I want to be able to listen in on one thing, through
headphones, without it going out the main output speakers. Does anyone have any idea how
this can be acheived? I'd appreciate any help. Thanks

There is a "Cue Out" selector in the lower part of the master channel. If there are not
enough outputs to choose from, you´ve got to select "Configure". It leads you to Audio
prefrerences. In the upper part of the page you select the device and in the lower part
there is "Output Config" selector, where you activate the actual channels available in the
mixer.
