I'd pick the JV-2080 - unless you need a controller, a role for which the XP-30 is suited,
too (an external controller box with knobs wouldn't hurt though, 4 sliders isn't that
much).
The XP comes with 3 expansions built in already, but most of the
JV-2080s on sale already have a number of expansions.
The advantage is that the
2080 has 3 EFX (insert effects) and 2 global effects, while the XP-30 has to work with
only one of them. If you have a multitimbral setup which uses a distorted guitar, you can
only give the rest of the patches the global effects, unless you want them distorted too.
