Synapse was the 70s electronic music 'zine, publishing interviews with Frank
Zappa, Herbie Hancock, Bob Moog, Brian Eno, Terry Riley, Stockhausen, Devo to name but a
few.... On line now Here I'm just reading their review of the Prophet 5 in
issue one. Wonderful stuff! Now if someone could do 'One, Two, Testing' as
well.... Regards Stephen

Just found this thread. Excellent link. Thanks for sharing it.
Reading up about
Greenpeace using a synth telling the wales to avoid the Whaling ships. Amazing.

What WAS that reviewer of The Man Machine by Kraftwerk on?! Mind you I do remember that
that album got a quite poor reception on its original release, and The Model only became a
hit (number 1 mind!) in 1981.

This is a superb link - maybe it needs a more permanent placement? Quote baward:

I dunno,
but I liked the quote about it from Devo here . "A lot of it sounded like a rip-off of Giorgio Moroder".
How true.

Auch it sounds nothing like Giorgio Morodor's cheese-tastic "from here to eternity" album
- those Americans just didn't "get" it
