Need Cubase Help Please

Hi ,
i use cubase with M-Audio 410.Wenn i record analog there is Input option stereo in (left or right) you choose one (left is ch 1 right is ch 2) and you record thats it. but today i got 1814 FW from M-audio and i dont know what is the rigt thing recording input, how should i set input option.
I did like this: 4 stereo buses ,1 bus left ch1 right ch2,2. bus left ch3 right ch4 , 3.bus left 5 right 6 and 4.bus left 7 right 8 .
Its working but now i have on my mixer 4 stereo ins and then audio chanels,midi ....
How should i set my cubase for all 8 chanels ?
