In response to members requests, we have added a dedicated
Reply To Thread button,
which appears at the very end of the last post in each thread.
The standard
Reply button featured at the top-right of each separate reply in a thread will
continue to tage your post as a reply to a certain person's comments, if this button is
used. However, for general replies to the original post topic, then you should use the
Reply To Thread button instead.
Why does it makes a difference?
Well, because the SOS Forum can be viewed in either Flat (default) or Threaded view
modes, by toggling the Flat/Threaded button at the top/bottom of the thread. Replies to
individual replies are thus slotted below each other in the order in which they were
posted (according to how your personal MY HOME display preferences have been set), in a
tree-like branching structure when viewing threads in Threaded mode.
Hope you
find it useful.
We have also added the poster's name when you use the
Quote reply button in a thread, to help distinguish who said what (the poster's
name appears to the right of the message/rely title also).
