Hai,

I just started a online musiclabel. And i am looking for artists to join me.

"Why should we do that" will you say.

well.....

We don't ask you for money

you are totally free to join other labels/sites

you get at least 50% of the salesprice ( going up to 70% )

"what's in it for the people who wants to buy music"

they can pick their own price......

the more they pay for your music, the more we pay you

all details can be found at http://www.soundcircel.com

Hey Arie
Had a quick look at your website.

I see this is your only post on this forum but hopefully you will come back to the forum to check out the feedback...

It's good that the agreement is non-exclusive and can be cancelled with a 30 days notice but why such a low payment fee? 50% to 70% isn't much at all...

Also i'd suggest that you check out your spelling mistakes cause there are quite a few, both on the site and in the contract.

I guess your site isn't finished yet cause the shopping cart isn't in place yet so i cannot really comment on its usability etc But it looks to me like a bit of a rush job.

So many websites try to create music communities etc - which is a very cool idea and what the Internet should be about. But have you thought about how to do this? What sort of music styles do you cover etc? Are you looking for international artists or just want more local artists? There's a need for some sort of identity on your website so that you can attract some people to it - and right now, it's not very obvious...

We had a few topics on the old forum about dd, maybe you can have a look to have a few ideas to refine your site.

the shop is working ( paypal ) but i have some rouble with the "real" shop. ( dns stuff )

i did some research on the pricing and it seems that the big ones don't pay that much. If you can give me links to sites who are doing it, you would be most helpfull.

The site is alway's in developing, and the miswritings....
i am having an english guy that is checking out the speeling ( i am a dutchy )

Thanks for your response

Arie... musiclover is from another dimension, he means 'left hand side' as in "pass the dutchie"... a joke that possibly only he and Prince Charles would get... and maybe only Chas would laugh at

OK, I got it too...
