Hi, I'd like to know if anyone here has used 002R with a laptop and if it has run correctly. A friend of mine has got this interface and has been asked to make a bunch of multitrack (6/8 mikes) mobile recordings (for TV purposes).

Onyx was at first a good option (leaving the analog part for "safe recording on tape", but people seem to bother its interface.

Any other interface or solution to record "mobily" without getting the Digi out of the studio and provide also an analog security?

Thanks all for yor comments, suggestions and any kind of help

PS: I would also thank, if any can mention one, any interface with tracking software for 8 channels). Sorry I've got not much idea about Macs.
