Logic: Quantise... Just a little!

Okay, since Cubase seems to be all the rage again here at this forum; has reminded me of a
function that so far I have not found in Logic.
Is it possible to
semi-quantise? I.e. tighten up bad rhythm but not to robot-like exact timings.
Cubase can :P

err.. if you double click parameter window in logic on the left of arrange you can find
various controls, way more refined than cubase's for quantizing in percent, flam mode for
chords, magnetic etc.. also maybe reading the manual could help.. anyway what works
best for you is ok.

Yes, open the extended sequence parameters.
You can quantise by percentage,
swing, adaptive quantise. You can do funky stuff like "quantise only notes that fall away
from a certain range, pull them toward the correct positions just a little bit and give
them a little swing, and leave everything else alone.
Logic has the most
comprehensive quantising options in any DAW and it's all in real-time and non-destructive.
You'll definitely need to read the manual on the more obscure stuff though...

Logic is the midi king!!!
The complexity of parameters within logic is the skys
limit.
I always use logic for custom quantizing, and you can make your own
groove templates from audio loops (hmmm...wonder how many others copied this including pro
tools).
Swing, Strength, Note delay back or forth, crazy. In matrix edit you
can even double click an event and shift it anywhere manually in incriments. Logic is 960

great! I guess it couldn't have hurt to dip into the manual for a bit about quantising!
How do I get to these extended parameters? Cheers
