Musicians' Union live gigging rates

I can't seem to get these PDFs from their site. Anyone tell me what the current going rate for live musicians is (minimum) as per MU recommendations, and also what the maximum playing time without a break is.

And how long a break are you allowed?

As a matter of idle curiousity, why do you ask?

If (judging by your avatar) you are a member of the ceilidh fraternity, you are unlikely to get into situations where you will be in dispute over minimum rates or playing times, surely?

One thing is for sure - don`t expect to negotiate such esoteria with local booking agents unless we are talking theatre work.

You kidding? And it's not booking agents either, it's private individuals. MU I think say at least 10 minutes for every hour of playing, max 3 hours playing (before standard rate goes up), but I need to check that.
