how to add a new device Scripts/patchnames/inactive folder ?

I want to add a new device but the profile for that instrument is not in the devices folder. All those files in that folder are XML.

Although there is a profile in the Scripts/patchnames/inactive folder(s) but all those scripts are TXT files.

I tried the import setup button and "browsed" my way over to Library/ApplicationSupport/Steinberg/CubaseSX3/Scripts/patchnames/inactive/
yamaha/in which there are many scripts.txt files.

However all those scripts are dimmed out and I could not select any one of them to import.

I tried several other script folders and it is the same situation. They are just dimmed out.

How does the import from the scripts/patchnames/inactive folders work?

And, what is the purpose of providing all those TXT files if I can't use them to add them to add a new device?
