any books/websites on room acoustic treatment? new
      #389415 - 04/12/06 10:40 PM
I don't know if this issue has come up recently, but I want to improve my room acoustics, as I both record and mix in that room. Is there any good book or even a website with information on acoustic treatment? (Ok, I must admit I am a bit lazy to Google it...)

Yep, our very own forum will take care of your queries, but it's also worth looking at RealTRaps, ReadyTraps and RPG.

They all have a wealth of info you can dig into.

You gotta get this book:

"Home Recording Studio
Build it Like the Pros"

By Rod Gervais

ISBN: 1-59863-034-2

Truly amazing! It has helped me out in more ways than I could describe. This is a true "how to build a studio" book, which may be more than you are asking for, but it does cover treatment as well.

Awesome recourse!
