Boss SX700 Help

Hi, does anyone know where I can get the midi implementation manual for the Boss
SX700.
It is not listed on any roland/boss websites, and I have tried
searching the web like a madman.
If you know where I can get a copy or you
have a copy for download I would be most grateful.
I am desperate.

I dimly remember that, when I bought my SX-700 many years ago, I had to phone Roland's
tech support and get them to post me the 20 page document.
Do you have a
specific question about the MIDI implementation?

Hi peter, I have emailed the tech dept at roland uk twice and they never replied and the
US branch just couldn't help me. I was reading the SOS article on the SX-700, in which Rob
Brady described this booklet, and how he could automate the RSS effects using the sysex
info and it sounded amazing.

Sorry to drop in out the blue and bump an ancient thread but I'm in the same situation as
the OP here - desperate for the elusive SX-700 MIDI implementation manual and drawing a
blank.
I've spoken to Roland UK but they're not interested in helping which
is fair enough but annoying.
Can any kind soul help me out with a copy of
this PDF or some info?
Basically all I want to do is set up a MIDI controller
(Novation Remote SL 25 mk 2) to control the RSS parameters.
Hoping someone
can help!
