Tascam us144, recording flamenco guitar?

Hi, I want an audio interface that I can record acoustic flamenco guitar through, at present I have an old Mac G4 400 but am considering upgrading it with a Sonnet board.
Anyway, does anyone have any opinions about the sound quality of these Tascams, I suppose I am asking if the pre-amps would be up to the task, would there be better options for me, I don't really want to record more than 2 instruments at once.
