ASIO4ALL new
      #419007 - 09/02/07 11:50 PM
I recently formatted my computer (due to very serious viruses!) and Im now re-installing CubaseSX3 and addons. Basically I forgot what steps I have to take in order to allow Cubase to use ASIO4ALL drivers that drastically reduces sound latency.
Thanks.

well, obviously you have to install Asio4All first.. then just select it as the Asio driver in Cubase.

Inside the A4A control panel you can enable/disable ins and outs for your soundcard. and there are some other options for buffer sizes and resampling i think... it been a while since I looked at A4A, but I remember it being all very straightforward.

If you worked it out once you must beable to work it out again... just dive in and i'm sure it'll all come back to you.

Its all explained nice on the website.

I've had to use this over the last couple of days. My RME Fireface went faulty so I had to nip to Maplins to get a USB SPDIF soundcard to couple to my monitor controller so I could at least hear some noise. Cost me £15! Works beautifully with the asio4all drivers.
