Midi setup

Hi

Quick beginners question, Would I be able to use a Boss DR-880 with a Novation ReMOTE 25 controller keyboard? How would the midi setup go?

Would I run a midi cable from the ReMOTE's "midi out" to the "midi in" of the DR-880, then from the DR-880 "midi out" to the "midi in" of the computer's soundcard? And then as the ReMOTE would be powered by USB would I want to transmit midi via the USB too? Is this a setup that would work with a sequencing program?

Thanks for the help.

You can just connect the DDR880 to the in and out of the Novation Remote 25 (I presume its got Midi in and out). The Midi will be piped to your sequencer via USB.
