Replacement Knob for Andromeda A6 new
      #470865 - 08/06/07 08:43 PM
Does anyone know where I may be able to get one from?
I didn't get any response back from Alesis support, as yet.

I called Alesis just a few weeks ago about replacement knobs for an Ion, and I spoke to someone right away. The knobs arrived in a timely way.

I think it's common for this kind of customer service to be pretty hit-or-miss. If you don't find them anywhere else, I'd keep trying Alesis. Good luck.

Thanks guys..... just sent an email to Alesis

something else related to the A6 which is baffling me right now is the setting up of a Mix with 3 channels enabled to sequence them in Cubase. Channel 1 = Midi 1, Ch2 = Midi 2, Ch3 = Midi 3

All other channels disabled.

Localmid enabled

Midi RX and TX enabled

Each channel spanning full keyboard range

The problem I have is that when I select and press a key on any track/midi channel in cubase corresponding with the A6 Mix channels (or not), all 3 channels play at once like it was in omni mode.

As far as I see from the manual there is no omni mode config switch as such, so I have no idea why all Mix channels are playing on each midi channel when I have set them to play individually and on their own designated midi channels.

Any help appreciated, and i'm sure its something simple that I have overlooked. Just got the synth 2 days ago so still plugging my way thru things with the manual.
