hi, i hope i,m not repeating a Q here , but i cannot find any information on what the legal requirements are for the studio itself with regard to actually recording material for customers, is the onus on the customer to apply for any permission , or does the studio have to be licenced, any help most welcome, t4tea

Hi Bakup,

do you mean in terms of the licenses that you/the customer needs to have? Like being members of the PRS etc?

i,m thinking about the studio owner , does the studio have to hold a licence of any kind in its own name ,

hi, sorry to have posted this Q before searching the forum, i found the post from, THE MUPPET 12/04/2007 which was enquiring about the same subject , i,m not quite sure what the conclusion was on the legal side ,but it was a good thread thanks t4tea
