Looking for snare samples without the snare.
      #574758 - 01/02/08 10:09 AM
Sorry if this sounds stoopid, but I've trawled through my drums and cannot find a decent snare drum without the snares. You know, like a tight plonk, prefer picolo or maple.

Does anyone know where I could finds this sample for download?

I use Logic 8 with EZ Drummer, maybe there is a sample i'm yet to find in EZ drummer?

Thanks in advance for any help.

SAM True Strike has some nice drum hits, with snare retracted, if I recall correctly.

Cheers,
Peter

Ah, brilliant, the answer was right under my nose all along.

I'll pitch a 12" tom up a little, sounds like it would work, might not be as 'snappy' as a snare but i'll give this a whirl.

cheers!
