Im willing to spend around $2000 for the mic. its an 18 x 18 bedroom with a tv, bed, and a nightstand. not sure what i'll do for sound yet. no soundbooth. but something more inexpensive that will work. would love if you have suggestioons on that to. thanks a lot. and ill only use it for vocals..

Find 4 stand mic stands kinda things put them all up as high as they go and put you and the mic in the middle and throw a duvet over the top of it thats what my teacher at college says works good if you need a vocal booth in your room haha

magicdog...i'll be pluggin the mic into a m-audio project mix and using protools.....and hazz...thanks man. why didn't i ever think of that?? clever n cheap..lol..

I've just said in your other thread, try an AKG C414. There should be no need to go to $2,000 for a rap/hip hop mic.
