      #612264 - 05/05/08 07:28 PM
Hello,

I'm looking for new pa speakers. I've seen the jbl jrx 115 and i think this is a good speaker, how do you think of it? Another possibility is the ev force i serie. Wich of these two is better? now we are using two mackie c300z. Now i would like to hear your choice:

- buy the jrx 115 and later buy subs with them (and why ofcourse)
- buy the ev force i serie (and why)
- expand your current system (two c300z) with subs.
- HK Audio PR:O 15
- other

budget for the two speakers is 850 euro's max.
Thanks

PS. sorry for my crappy English but it's not my native language

Hi,

The C300's are good, so you could just get the subs when you can afford them.
Personally, I have been an Electrovoice fan since I bought my first pair in 1981( only blew up last year when I gave them to my Brother-in-law, due to faulty mixer output) so I would always recommend EV,
However get to listen to all the ones you have been recommended as sound is a very personal thing. You might find one combination sound better than another. Go with what sounds better to you.

Cheers.

Ian
