Gnome app to test my setup new

I want to start some coding on JACK.

Is there a small gnome (gtk) app to test my setup? I want to see if my Delta and Midisport works properly with JACK before I begin. However, a lot of the famous apps are huge.

Rosegarden needs the whole KDE package (I don't run KDE). Ardour has some other dependencies, which I can't easily satisfy because Planet CCRMA is still only supporting Fedora Core 2.

Some little stable app (but with full functionality) is all I need. Who can help?
