EXS24 - Looping a sample?

I have recorded a sample from a synth but I didn't record it with nough sustain so I am trying to make the EXS24 loop a section.

This should be easy enough but when I check the Loop tab in the EXS4 sample editor and enter the Audio Edit window it doesn't give me the loop start (LS) and loop end (LE) markerslike it says it should in the manual. It gives me the normal start and end points.

I would enter the info in manually using the numeric boxes but I cant work out the exact start and end points?

If anyone can enlighten me on making a sample loop in Logic Pro 7 I would be very grateful?

Just use the start and end points. Find the section within your audio you want to loop - put the marker at the start, and the other at the end - press play in loop mode (whilst in the audio editor), zoom in on the audio to tweak and trust your ears that it's looping evenly.

Hi Sherman,
Once you get to the audio window, make your selection and then under the local edit menu (I think, I'm on L8 now) select "selection>loop". you will then have loop start-end markers there and if loop is engaged in the exs24 editor it should be fine.
