Digidesign 003 Family & Logic

As I want to use Logic & Pro Tools I've been using a M-audio Projectmix lately and had mixed results.So I was wondering if anyone has had any sucess using the 003 rack or 003 Surface controller with Logic.

Failing this it would have to be a Mackie Control surface,which I understand is great, and hopefully a 003 rack or maybe a M-audio Firewire interface.

Has anyone any better ideas? I would really appreciate your help as I don't want to invest (time more than money) into something I end up changing again after short while having battled with a Yamaha 01x for 4 years.

Hi, I'm thinking about getting a Euphonix MC control and MC Mix - you might want to check those out as an option for controlling Logic and Pro-tools

And they look really cool too!
