I know sometimes it takes me a while to be happy with a tune but this is getting silly.
I've been working on this since autumn '98. I dropped the idea after a while but kept
trying to finish it without any joy or success. Recently i've made nothing that i thought
had any dancefloor potential but i think this one is OK. Any comments and feedback are
welcome - it still probably needs a few mix tweaks.

esq Whats the sample (vox) of?
I can't remember TBH - it's about 6 yrs since i sampled it - something from an old
western - i think.
Anyway....
Thanks to everyone who gave great
feedback on the last incarnation of this tune. I've reworked the beats and thrown the
original lead line back in - coz some people found the last version too minimal. I'm done
with this tune.

Quote Ovalsoul: Your track is
wicked!!! Love the drums and the reverb is fasntastic - where did you get it from outboard
or fx?
The track has a really good energy to it would be really interested to
hear what you used to make it with.
I didn't think the vox sample was too loud
at all if anytyhing i struggled to hear it
Cheers.
The reverb is just a tiny amount of TC Native
plugin reverb strapped across the whole mix (except the drums - coz they already have room
reverb from the recording). Originally I made the tune using a Novation Bass Station,
Yamaha SU10 sampler and a cheap Zoom fx rack all MIDI sequenced by my Atari 1040 ST! (ah those
were the days - when i made more music and knew less about the workings of PCs.)
This rewroked version basically resampled lots of bits of the old version (like the
drums and bass) but then i added new synths and effects using Acid 5. Main synths are NI
Pro 53 and Arturia Moog. The dropping sound was created by moving the loop point on a drum
sample in the SU10.
