Are any of the reviews from the Live Sound Supplements On Line?

I don't mean the Performing Musician stuff, but the supplements that came with SOS back in
2005/6 ish. Paul reviewed some condenser handheld mics he really liked and I'm
darned if I can remember what they were? Just spent an unhappy half hour going
through the SOS archive to no avail

Hover over the 'Search' button at the top of the screen.
Click on 'New
Search'
Then click on 'Category Selector'
One of the items in the
Menu is 'Live Sound'.
Click that - there you go!

No joy, I'm afraid... The article I have in mind doesn't appear to be there. If
anyone from SOS towers is reading this... What were those (cheapish) handheld condensers
that Paul W reviewed in (I think) the first live sound suplement, and liked so much he
picked up a bunch?

As luck would have it, I think I ran in to the answer to this just yesterday whilst
looking for reviews on a couple of different stage condensors. Both came up with reviews
by Paul W comparing against the LD1011, and saying the LD1011 was his default stage mic.
Searching on those, I found a link to a past SoS article by Paul W about engineering a
festival, where again he mentioned LD1011s as his standard stage mics.
Since
I'm trying a few stage condensors ATM, I'll be buying a one of those myself when the next
paycheque comes through (and maybe more than one if they're nice). For £40 new, it's
certainly worth a go.

We only started including the Live
Supplement content into the eSub articles towards the end of the Live periof, before we
bought Music Mart magazine in 2006 and started to put our reviews in there instead. Then
MM begat PM.

Paul reviewed and liked the Adam Hall LD Systems D1011 mics in the second Live
supplement. For convenience, I have put the PDF version of that article into a folder on
the site so anyone can download it for free. (ie. it's not part of the PDF Downloads
sold-PDF mechanism so will not show up in your My Downloads area of MY ACCOUNT).

Grab... Those are the ones... Good find! Ian: Thank you very much. That really
is service Yet more evidence that SOS is excellent (not that anyone here needs
telling that!)

Thanks Ian. Useful bit of info to back up trying those out.
Mark, if you are
interested in them then do Google them and hit the relevant SoS links that come up.
Whilst the standalone review of them is worth reading, the other SoS reviews compared them
to other stage condensor mics, which for me is more useful (does one have more presence
peak than the other? or is smoother? or better side/rear rejection?)
