Short song - Can't Sleep - Rock/Alt? Not sure how to categorize new
      #804211 - 16/01/10 02:06 PM
Hey guys

This is just a short one but any feedback on the mix or the arrangement in general would be gratefully appriciated. I used a UAD-2 card mostly for the mixing, and am still learning!

Lyrics

I dont know, where I stand now
Caught in a sea of snow
all I want is, hold your cold hands
Through these winter days

And I'm trying, yes I'm trying
but my heads not in that place
and how can it, when were fighting
Maybe you need some space?

You may be comfortable but I can't sleep, tell me what your thinking
Are you wasted on me

One more day, in the circus,
finding my way out
but the circle, keeps moving
its spinning round in doubt

and I hate it, when you see me
ya look with your broken eyes
and I'm too scared to know what
your feeling this time

You may be comfortable but I can't sleep, tell me what your thinking
Are you wasted on meCode:

Hi there,
Short is perfectly OK if you've said everything you want to say.

I don't have a clue and care even less about genres but I'd say it sounds pretty contemporary.

I couldn't hear anything nasty in the mix, so all in all, I'd say give yourselves a pat on the back.

It's not something I would normally listen to but it sounds pleasant enough, possibly a bit anonymous, though.
