Wow its been found at last. I knew somebody would find it. Super track.
I wonder if anyone knows how the kick was recorded? We seem to spend a lot of time with technical wizardry trying to achieve that sound which was gained through low tech in those days. I can remember experimenting with Tea Chests with the open end facing the resonator and a mic placed to capture the results. Very low tech.

I am so delighted that "Karla" By Heavy Zebra is being made available. Like most of us older members, I have thousands of recordings on tape. We should all go through these old tapes to find what 'utter gems' are lurking in cold cupboards just waiting to be revived."Karla could be up there with the Classics.
