I've got a headache (Bit of a moan)

I appreciate that software companies must use some form of copy protection in order to
prevent piracy. I'm all for ilok, in fact. Or serial numbers. I don't even mind
Native Instrument's 'service center'. I bought the FXpansion DCam synth squad a while
back. Had some trouble installing it on my machine. I actually ran out of authorizations
so they were gracious enough to give me some more. I've used those up now (p*ssing about
getting things working nicely).
I understand it's pretty much my fault but the
anti-piracy systems employed these days are so bloody convoluted.
So I emailed
them nearly a week ago asking for assistance. Nada. Not a sausage.
Presently I
have some nice looking icons sat on my desktop but can't start the bloody things.
I've sent some follow-up emails but can't get a response. Ho hum.
If I'd know
what type of system they employed before purchase, I'd probably not have bought it.
There. I feel better now.

I got the whole set as well and had no issues installing them. Weird. Have you
tried contacting Angus at FXPansion? he's a top bloke and will respond if he is
there.

Hello mate. In the interests of fairness, the installation aggro was completely of my own
doing. I had no troubles installing the software and could get it running, but I was
trying to run it on vista and had a world of troubles. I'm back on my mac now,
though, and I'd like to just chuck them on again.

Hmm... The reason I'm venting here (if you pardon the pun) is because support isn't
answering my mails.

If emails don't work, pick up the phone. A lot of companies are a bit haphazard about
email support, but will talk to a human being.

akshully if you post on their forum you get a response pretty much straight away. It
annoys them, but it does expedite the process....
