As a mixing training project I have received a couple of tracks that are split stereo
(marked L/R) and would like to import them into cubase but reconverted or reconnected as
interleaved stereo. Been unexperimented I don't really know or understand how to deal with
split stereo track into Cubase. Is there a way on a PC Windows xp to reconnect tracks that
are split stereo?

There's really no need to combine them before using them in Cubase. Import them both into
Cubase as mono tracks, and make sure they're lined up in time. Now just pan one hard left
and the other hard right.
If you want to you can now export the stereo output
as an interleaved stereo file, and re-import if you feel the need.

Thank for this, and I guess in order to process L and R equaly I will have to bus the two
mono tracks to a group channel. As I have many split stereo tracks the export option look
time consuming, but I might have to go that road.
