Book Recommendation?? Can't remember the flippin' name...

Hi

There's a book that I've read about here that people often recommend but which I've forgotten the name of! It's not a 'how to' book on production as such but more of a selection of different interviews which different producers. Sorry if that's a bit vague, but I'm sure someone will know what I mean as it often comes up...

Yes, I imagine it is Behind The Glass. It's an excellent book, provided you read it realising that the interviews were mostly back when everyone was still using that bit more analogue gear.

The second volume, release last year I think, has more up to date info, but I found the interviews a little less insightful. Still worth a read though.

If you're not already, then it's also worth reading the back issues of SOS for the Inside Track and Classic Tracks features for more of the same.
