Using 2 Novation Compacts

Hey

my live synth rig is currently Novation 49SL > MBP > Cubase 5.5 > Motu828mkIII using the Arturia 10 year suite synths

I would like to know if its possible to add a 2nd Novation 49SL and use one to handle cubase transport controls/one softsynth and the 2nd Novation to use another softsynth independantly

meaning i can control 2 softsynths at any one time and make full use of the Automap functions for complete control of both selected synths at any one time

there seems to be a lack of info on the net.
