Hi Guys,

I just wanted to share a few demos of my music with you. I recorded all songs at home, so please do not expect the best quality sound, but if you like what you hear please subscribe as eventually I will upload all of over 50 songs. Please note that the style of music is in gothic ballads to heavy metal range, so if you like pop/hip hop music, then links below might not be suitable for you. I am not trying to make money on this, just want to share with the rest of the world whatever was available only for very close friends and family. Here are a couple of instumentals and a cover version of "Requiem For a Dream" theme.

Generation Of War:

Bone Grinder:

hi there

im not a great fan of metal but i thought bone grinder was wikkid!!

it was quite dark and gothic i thought so maybe you could of added some pipe organ to exagertae the gothicness? and some bat sound fx maybe at the beginning and end?

requiem for a dream was also excellent!

nice work!

Hi Colin,

Many thanks for your compliments, they are very much appreciated ! Good idea about the pipe organ, I might try and experiment with that later this week.

Here is 1 more SAD but HEAVY instrumental with lots of "moods" changes, it's not as exciting as the other songs, but might be worth listening once as a background music: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LVxw4kMFM9w

Metal!! Yay

Very Well put together and good guitar playing.

Only one thing lacking to my mind thats a Vocalist - get a good one at your first opportunity.

I love Colin_S but please DO NOT add cheesy bat sound effects!

A big thank you to all of you who sent me messages with complements and suggestions. I do read them all and I do take good critism on board, so after receiving a number of messages saying that drums were not loud enough in "It's Alive!" instrumental, I decided to remix them so here, for those who cares, the remixed version of "IT'S ALIVE!". Enjoy

Just uploaded one of my "early" songs. It's more of a Rock Ballad rather than a heavy metal "earblower". Check it out please:

The Midnight Sun new [Re: DethoticA]
      #898850 - 04/03/11 01:42 PM
Just uploaded one of my latest songs. I must say that I'm very proud about the sound quality that I managed to achieve using only basic equipment and recording in home environment. Audio tracks were recorded within a week and then I spent another 4 weeks playing with different studio toys like Multiband compressors, EQs, stereo enhancers, limiters etc.

Music vise, the song is some kind of a Frankenstein with clean guitar intro turning into heavy and melodic metal followed by hardcore headbanger and finished with Metallica/Gothic style solo...

Anyway please check it out here:

I've just uploaded my latest song on youtube, IMHO, It's the best song I've recorded so far, it's got really nice and catchy melody and sound quality is reasonably good for not professional home recording. Please do not be put off by "soft" beginning, this song does get heavy and please just for once, just forget about the name of my band and try to enjoy the music...

A new song... It's got some heavy parts, some melodic harmonies, some fast and some different to what you ever heard before stuff...

Give it a try
