Stage Piano Recommendations

I'm looking for a stage piano, budget around £400-£600. I play a Roland HP series piano
at home, looking for something portable, with a decent (as far as that budget allows)
piano action, and decent but not necessarily mind blowing built in sounds.
Been
looking at the Korg SP250, and Casio Privia PX 130. Anyone got any experience with these
two? Or any other recommendations?
Cheers

I have experience with the Casio PX 110 and PX 330. For the money, they are very nice
instruments. I'm particularly fond of the action in the newer models, it is smooth and
quite realistic.

Thanks.
Compared a Korg SP170 and the Casio 130/330 today, the latter
definitely have better action.

That's funny, I've never considered Casio to be a major player in the stage piano market,
as I've only encountered Yamaha, Kurzweil, Roland, Korg, etc. Interesting you
say the action's good, because I've always liked the Yamaha action more than Casio.
Possibly swayed by the Clavinova series though.

When I started looking into what model to buy, I too was surprised to see the name Casio
pop up... but I've seen the Privia series namechecked many times in user reviews
The budget Yamahas I played had 'orrible springy action... pricier models, and Rolands,
all played nice of course... but the Casios are good for the price. What they do perhaps
lack is a bit of style and build quality.

The build quality of the current models is actually quite good. I bought a PX 330 for our
local jazz club.
You get a lot for your money: Best in class hammer action
(IMO), 128-note polyphony, 16-track sequencer, midi and USB, line i/o and 2 headphones
out, built-in amp and speakers. Yet, it is lightweight. I'd be perfectly happy to use
one for a master keyboard or for smaller gigs.
