That's like asking Roland how long before we get another repackaged synth from them.
I think Bob Moog [RIP] would turn in his grave at the sight of that monstrosity..

But then bob's not here. I really want one of these, and I can't even play
keyboards properly.

My first thought was a semi-modular minimoog - what's not to like? Then I went
to the website and I'm with Dave B HOW MUCH!!

I'm not bothered about the price. I've got more chance of winning the lottery than I have
of learning to play it. Where do the strings go? Andy

If soft synths are counted as well, then Dr.
Moog is one hell of a rotating corpse.

Sorry, but as much as I admire Moog and the legacy etc., I can't help but think that this
- at $2,700 - is considerably better value than the $5,000 Voyager XL....
Or this...
For the same kind of price as the Voyager XL ($5,000),
there's this system from synthesizers.com. Pretty much twice of everything!
Knicker moistening synthesis power!
No
competition.
And that's before we factor Doepfer et al into the
equation!

'...if I owned all possible kind of these that ever existed, my studio would have
been a never ending source of nuclear energy. And I would have been some kind of super
hero. The one who uses nuclear energy to power his sidearms. The one who punishes people
like Justin Bieber. And the one who himself makes his own title soundtracks.
...they
dont flaunt that price tag for no reason.'

HS as
much as i would like to own a dot com portable system, the only thing that stops me is the
import duty, taxes and delivery would add another £600 GBP onto the price of the thing.
But other than that it would probably still turn out cheaper than $5000 USD
