Apogee repairs in the UK

Hello,

Mid project, my Apogee Duet's channel 1 pre-amp seems to have died; Loads of noise and electric humming, while the channel 2 preamp's fine.

Does anyone in the UK have experience with getting Apogee gear repaired?

The Apple stores are listed as the UK distributers on the Apogee website but I'd probably crap a puppy if I phoned them up tomorrow and they say they're able to fix it such would be my suprise.

Am I going to have to ship the thing to the States?

Still in warranty? Contact Apogee directly. http://www.apogeedigital.com/company/contact.php

Not in warranty? Contact Sonic Distribution. http://www.sonic-distribution.com/uk/

Not sure if Sonic still officially distribute Apogee but they will know techs anyhow.
