Exciting news!!!

Two people on the Atari-Forum website are in the process of making a batch of Ethernet cartridge port interfaces in the next few weeks. One is predicting he will have some NETUS-Bee to buy all being well, within a few weeks from now. The other person may make some EtherNEC but may not bother if the NETUS-Bee go ahead as planned.

Read about this here:

Anyone who has followed the links in this thread will already know that forum user alanh, is due to start production of his EtherNEC project in September once initial demand has been gauged.

These are the bare components that make up the kit, minus the ribbon cable and the case to house it all. You will need to purchase the ISA card elsewhere though, but for around £10 to £15 + P&P you can buy one from this Ebay seller, auction number 310086814132:

Production of the Hydra is due to start now, which as detailed in the links above is a NETUS-Bee minus the USB port. A pre-orders page will be setup soon and then we will know the prices.

My Hydra arrived the other day, so I will be attempting to plug this in and get it working soon. It looks absolutely beautiful and that is not something I usually say about electronic gear.
