well, yeah. Apart from the Kraftwerk and Hancock tracks are remixes from years later !!

Oh dear God... I despair!

For my senior project, "The History of Electronic Music."

So...

How about the Telharmonium, the Theremin, the Hammond Novachord, the Ondes Martenot, the RCA synth (Mk I and II), musique concrete, Pierre Schaeffer, Louis and Bebe Barron, Morton Subotnik and his pioneering work with Buchla synths, Moog and Walter/Wendy Carlos and so on?

Electronic music goes back FAR further than 50 years!

If I was his examiner, I would fail him big time. Idiot!

This is what music tech colleges turn out, this is what gets them 'degrees'?

Not good!

I thought it was OK actually, as nostalgia trips go.

He has got a fairly consistent sound across recordings of very different vintages, and the times and pitches sit together (with a couple of exceptions) without feeling bent out of shape. Which is creditable. No-one is saying he got a first class honours, but he has demonstrated well enough that he knows how the buttons in his studio work.

Not up to the amazing Kutiman's standards (remember this: The Mother Of All Funk Chords ), but I'd give him a pass mark. Come on, you miserable gits, it's not that bad.

However, the picture of the record sleeve promising a 16 minute remix of 'I feel love' was frankly terrifying.

that is very poor.

I was hoping for a through-composed piece of music he'd done himself taking in all the styles from musique concrete to dubstep.

But sadly not. It's just a lame greatest hits compilation.
