Logic 8 Can't undo or turn off solos

I did a mix in Logic 8 with just audio files no midi data. Using some UAD & Logic Plugins. I did an automated mix, re-opened the session and now have a solo on a track I can't get rid of. I have muted automation on all tracks, frozen and re-frozen tracks, re-written Automation in both Write and latch and even deleated the logic preferences and the solo keeps coming back. I'm on a G5 Dual running 10.5.8 with 7GB RAM. Any ideas as to what's going on????

I'm not sure I understand your problem.

You say you have a solo on a "track" (as opposed to a solo on a mixer channel, or a region or group of regions), correct?

And the solo button on the track is yellow and selected. When you click on it, what happens? Does it stay yellow, or does it click off?

If you can describe what you are doing and what's happening in more detail, I might be able to help.

Is Logic in solo-safe mode?
