Hi All,

Just finished working on a new mix to an older song called "Stray Dogs" off of our second CD. I'd appreciate any feedback.

Did you use a pop filter? There's quite a pop when the vocals come in around the 16 second mark.

I think this kind of thing is incredibly difficult to pull off - requires a combination of lyricism, melody, vocal tone and range, and more intangible things like "feel" and "authenticity" ... which if I'm honest, I don't think you hit. Thats not to say that you haven't done a good job, but it feels like craft in a medium where artistry is what is needed to elevate beyond the ordinary.
