As he sat in the long deserted Council chamber, Bukdun considered what might happen if the elders reinstated public access to it.....


this he felt would be a good thing, for that little known element "fun" had , in his view, long been missing from the world....

The deities were all there. Burruturrd the Binger, Zortan Dry and Personal and Cedric Meek yet Confident. Zak the Freestyling Bard was missing because he was on one of the ringed moist moons of planet Boo Kake.

'What is that I see in your hand?'....inquired Zortan with darting eyes

'It's the chalice of Buk' Cedric responded tentatively.

The chalice of Buk had a long history and was first formed when Ned the Gnut Nestler took.......

Now Look, (Said Bukdun, somewhat irritatedly), you were invited to submit a provenance proving it was rightfully yours , with a view to returning it as part of the non aggression pact we signed back in the dark ages.... you failed to do so....


YOU know it, I know it, and the rest of the council know it, so stop pretending you didn't, and get over it....


besides, what the hell a Dragon would do with 6 litres of platinum grade lube in a jewel encrusted golden chalice made from an Ogre's skull, I really REALLY do NOT want to know....


honestly, it's not like the old days is it, not like when we used to rampage across the southern downs in search of........
