Some sad news

Alan 'Cal' Calvert, who developed the Yoshimi branch of ZynAdSubFX, passed away on the 2nd July after several years battling with cancer.

He left us with a piece of software that was dramatically better and more stable than the original, running sweetly at 30% CPU usage, where Zyn, would be breaking up with 95% usage on exactly hardware with the same sources and the same patches.

I always admired his courage and tenacity at continuing to work on this while battling one of the the cruelest diseases to ever be inflicted on someone. I will miss him greatly as a friend as well as a very creative developer.
