Cubase File Format player that supports playlists new

Hi guys.

I play Sax live with pre-recorded music. I want my effect's unit to be controled live, using pre-recorded MIDI commands and was wondering if there is such a thing like an audio player which plays files that support both Midi and Audio mix arrangments.

Easy isn't it?
Not for me though !

It would be worth taking a look at Ableton Live, which is designed for what you are trying to do, and is also an excellent DAW and a DJ rig.

It is architected to keep the audio running at all costs, which is exactly what you want when playing live, and is rock solid. Costs a bit, but does an awful lot !

I am now using a full version of Ableton Live 8.x
