50cm rockwool anyone ?
      #935609 - 20/08/11 10:21 PM
Regular readers will know I am trying to organise some rockwool corner chunks....

Thus far, I have planned on using 1200 x 600 x 100 slabs from my local Travis Perkins...

But, actually, since I want to avoid complex cutting etc, I realise I could do it easier and better if I had 1000 x 500 x 100 slabs ? Does the team know if they exist, and if so, where from (I'm in South London) ?

no they don't 1000x600 or 1000x450 not 1000 x 500

and complex cutting?? how hard is it to cut a pair of squares and then equal 4 triangles from a single double square rectangle??

1200x600 is identical proportion to 1000x500

Indeed... But 500 will fit in near a radiator, while 600 won't...

Just to confirm - are you talking superchunks here?

If so, can you draw and post a crude overhead or some kind of diagram showing the radiator and/or any other obstacles?
