Hello all

"I am an artist and outsider engineer living in Brighton on the south coast of England. My work is inspired by vintage technology. It aims to celebrate the abandoned, the derelict and the obsolete."

Over the last 12 months my creative interests have steered in a new direction away from making music towards making things that make music. Along the way I developed a general interest in making, all related to vintage, obsolete or otherwise marginalised technology. Some of my work is for sale and I'm also maintaining a list of related links and resources using Twitter, Tumblr and Facebook.

Fascinating stuff Jim - I nearly always find that when I follow up SOS Forums users 'outside activities' I end up being impressed, and this is no exception

Your 'Dirty Circuits' project is fascinating, and I wouldn't mind having one of the limited edition prints on my own wall

Thanks Martin and Stan much appreciated, glad you like. Martin the pics are for sale! I'm sure I could set up a modest discount for SOS Forum-ites too Stan, the conversion/build is all mine but as stated in the blog entry the gubbins inside the APC VCS Tribute is the design of a guy called Matt Newlove so props to him for how it sounds (and it's plumbed into an EHX Memory Man Deluxe too which helps).

Thanks Jim, that's very kind. Yes, I did realise they were for sale, but the reason I carefully said "I wouldn't mind having one of the limited edition prints on my own wall" is that I'm married to an artist, and we can scarcely see the walls for her pictures as it is, especially when we get to the end of the season and the contents of her studio come indoors as well
