Hey guys
Just wanted to leave this here to get some comments on the
song/mix/production etc. Hope you enjoy it, original song recorded, played all by me,
except for the viola, that was my dad!

To me, your singing and the lyrics are good,
but the backing is just all wrong. I'm sorry I can't be more specific than that but it
just doesn't seem to fit.

Hi only listened on my laptop speakers, however thought your vocal was nicely recorded.
Don't really like the style of music, but that's just personal taste I guess, its
all a bit jaunty which isn't really compatible with a misery guts such as myself...
Wanted a bit more variation in the muscial sections after each verse chorus.
But sounded quite nicely done to me....

Its the use of space in
my opinion...the effects need to be used differently. The melody guitar and viola seem too
dry and as they seem to float a little rhythmically, they would benefit from a more
distant placement. It is a quite nice production but needs a gentle remix. Dave

I liked it Yes it's all very upfront in the mix and not sure if it would benefit
from more effect to give it distance. Reminds me of sitting in the Folk Club in Belper. It
has that "I'm sitting in front of you " mix. Thought the vocal was very good.. Tad
loud? Don't know. Great originality and i thought it was executed well Enjoyed Ronnie
